Situated in Penticton, at the gateway to the picturesque Naramata Bench, Upper Bench offers a unique experience to locals and visitors by offering pairings of their two passions: artisan wine and hand-crafted cheese. Winemaker Gavin Miller believes great wine is made in the vineyard and farms sustainably, with out the use of chemicals or pesticides. Upper Bench produces big bold reds and crisp dry whites. All of Upper Bench’s wines come from the mature vines on Upper Bench’s unique seven-acre vineyard and a select few other vineyards along the Naramata Bench. Cheesemaker Shana Miller continues to create her unique and highly sought-after hand crafted artisan cheeses in her on site, state of the art creamery. She now offers eight delectable cheeses: U&Brie, Belle Marie, Gold, Gold French, Gold Italian, Okanagan Sun, Grey Baby and a stilton style blue named King Cole. Off The Grid is fun for all ages and experience levels. Based on Okanagan lake, we offer wakesurf lessons, wakeboard lessons, boat rentals (including equipment and captain) as well as great custom rental packages. All of our drivers and coaches learn from world wakesurf competitor Bryce Wagner. Our coaches are always fun and the best part is they know how to get even the most uncoordinated person up surfing and having a blast. Everyone that comes out with us tells us that boating with us is the highlight of their vacation. We get you off the shores and onto the lake. Bring a big group of your friends or family, load up the boat and have someone take care of all the details for you. With a group on the boat a full day of entertainment is less per person then zip lining, wine tours, skiing, and other popular Okanagan activities. We are the best way to experience the Okanagan.
We beleive any company can offer “wine tours”, but only a select few operators can leave their patrons with an aw inspiring experience. Our goal is to exceed your expectations by offering only luxury transportation, working with the best local vineyards/wineries, and by having well put together tours that make the most of your time.
